Through Globalization, the whole world has become receptive to sharing new ideas and discoveries regardless of color, background, nationality, distance & culture. GLOBAL INNOVATIVE recently served as a home for a number of International delegates for the E Leader Conference 2012 here in Manila on January 2 to 4. Hosting this Global event has served as one best way to start the year right for GCIC.
E LEADER CONFERENCE 2012 - MANILA
The conference was held at the Juan Carlos Amphitheater which started through a Welcome Remarks from the President of Global Innovative, Engr. Michael Tan. He emphasized why GCIC is the perfect venue for this year’s gathering. The President extended a warm welcome to all the contingents and introduced the Academic Team members of Global Innovative. Engr. Tan also welcomed and encouraged all possibilities for future collaboration and partnerships between and among the delegates.
The E Leader Conference is an annual gathering of Academic and Entrepreneurial Institutions around the globe and served as a venue for face-to-face meeting of minds on certain issues between academicians, corporate leaders and entrepreneurs. Since 2006, the annual conference is being scheduled from around 32 countries in Asia and Europe. The first was held in Slovakia and the last one before Manila was held in Croatia.
Several Global Innovative students were given the opportunity to participate in the 3-day conference to observe and learn from the speakers. Global Innovative Tourism Students were also lucky to be assigned as ushers and tour guides for the foreign delegates around the entire Bonifacio Global City which capped the event.
GLOBAL INNOVATIVE sees this successful activity as a great opportunity for the current and future students of GCIC which will open more doors for possible future International partnerships & immersion programs, study tours, exchange programs, international affiliations.
Indeed, there are brighter and bigger things that will happen at GCIC this year!
